She soon smellt a mouse, and then spotted its plump frame scuttling amongst the leaves.
She crept towards it, and in one spring, she had the mouse hanging limply from her jaws.
"Nice catch!" a voice congratulated her. Startled, she whipped around to see a grey tom emerge from a group of ferns. He smelled like a PikeClan cat. "I'm Snaketail."
Against her better judgement, Fallowheart found him ruggedly handsome. "Thank you," she stammered. "I'm Fallowheart."
Then she ran off towards camp with a mouthful of mouse, panting hard.

Pinestar stretched and padded slowly out of the den. The prophecy had kept him up all night.
He walked towards the freshkill pile, his fur ruffled, struggling to keep his hazel eyes open.
Suddenly a familiar scent wafted up his nostrils and jolted him awake. It was the smell of his brother, Basil.
He turned his head to see the shimmering outline of his cream-colored littermate walking beside him.
"Basil, my brother, my dearest brother..." Pinestar reached to nuzzle his brother, sadness growing inside of him. The images of young Basil being eaten alive by dogs flashed through his mind.
Basil vanished in an instant, leaving Pinestar's muzzle touching nothing but air.
Pinestar sighed heavily, frustration and sadness blending into one in his mind.
He felt a sudden urge that he couldn't pinpoint. Cats of the prophecy...must tell the cats of the prophecy...
Basil's voice murmured in his ear. "The cats of the prophecy hold the power of the pelt of silver...you must tell them..."
Pinestar whirled around, but his brother was no where in sight. He sat on the cold stone tiles beneath him, hissing in aggravation.
The pelt of silver...the pelt of silver...he wondered, puzzled, as he tried to decipher his brother's words. The pelt of silver...SILVERPELT.
Pinestar had soon collected the propheciesed cats deep in the Gorseledge. Eleven pairs of eyes watched him expectantly.
"I...I have something to tell you all..." Pinestar began, digging his claws into the ground. "You are more powerful then you will ever know, and I think its time that I told you what my brother told me...about the destiny that StarClan has for you..."
As he told the group the grim prediction that Basil had said the night before, none of them realized that there was a twelth pair of eyes watching their every move.
**Pinestar**
*Windpaw gasped* what!?!?!?! I heard voices and they said something about a snakes poision
ReplyDeletePinestar nodded grimly.
ReplyDelete"My brother, Basil...he knows the amazing powers that you all have in your grasp. He was the one who had told me the prophecy."
**Pinestar**
Fernpaw was silent. A prophecy? From StarClan?
**Fernpaw**
A tingle went down Dustpaw's spine. This was what he had been waiting for.
This was his destiny.
**Dustpaw**
Thunderstorm stayed silent, eyes still half wide/half closed with shock. She stared at her paws, unable to speak.
ReplyDelete~*Thunderstorm*~
Lilypetal watched closley, listening to every word he said. "I am powerfull?" she muttered softly. She had never.... in a million moons... thought that she... she could just be that one cat that could save her clan.
ReplyDeleteFernpaw looked over at the other prophecy cats, who all looked as surprised as she was. She was somewhat relieved.
ReplyDeleteShe had thought that she would be the only one confused by this.
**Fernpaw**
Dustpaw gazed at Pinestar's grim face.
What would become of them on this journey?
**Dustpaw**
Snowpaw looked at his mentor. "Goldenstream?" He whispered. "What does this mean?" He tilted his head.
ReplyDeleteGoldenpaw looked at her paws. Why is everyone special apart from me?! She thought angrily.
((BTW, I'm not angry that I'm not part of the prophecy thats just Goldenpaw's personality))
((Ok thank you for commenting again!))
ReplyDeleteFernpaw saw Goldenpaw's angry face.
"What's wrong?" she asked, nudging her friend.
**Fernpaw**
Goldenpaw sighed. "Everyone seems special except for me" Her claws slid out, "I just want to be the best warrior I can and be a value to my clan"
ReplyDeleteFernpaw purred.
ReplyDelete"But, Goldenpaw, you ARE special," Fernpaw reassured her. "I always look up to you and your ongoing bravery. A prophecy doesn't make you any less unique and special."
**Fernpaw**

ReplyDeleteShe's right you know. I never could have seen something like this coming and I'm just as new a warrior as you are a medicine cat. You are just as important to this clan as Fernpaw or even me. Don't worry your time will come.
[Umm excuse me cats of PoplarClan, I was wondering who plays Dawnfeather, because that was my warrior name(notice my blogger name is Dawnstar). I need to work it out with them about the name issues. I invented that name in December 2009, by joining Silverstar's StormClan, then made this account in January 2010. So I would like to know when they invented it and I'd like to discuss it, thanks!
ReplyDelete(I have other bloggers to verify when I made that name up if it's absolutely nessessary, and many blogs where I play a Dawnfeather)]

Dustpaw shrugged at Violetpaw.
ReplyDelete"StarClan has decided our destiny," he said. "Our job is to save the Clan, I guess."
**Dustpaw**
((Dawnstar--I'm sorry, I didn't know that you were Dawnfeather as a warrior! I changed the name to Dawndream. Sorry for any confusion! Thank you! :D ))
(Thanks so much! You're a very nice person! Hope you like the new name you picked out and I hope I didn't make you feel bad because you had to change it and loved that name!)
ReplyDelete~Spottedkit
((Oh, that's fine, Dawnstar! I'm glad to help and I understand how you feel. Don't worry, I'm fine with the name Dawndream, and I don't feel bad at all. Thanks! :D ))

Goldenpaw sighed. "Snowpaw's the special one" She licked her chest fur a couple of times before hearing her name being called.
ReplyDelete"Goldenpaw!"
She looked around to see he younger sister sprinting towards her on clumsy paws. "Hi Robinkit"
The dark ginger kit looked up at her with big blue eyes. "Goldenpaw! Scareyes is letting me out of the nursery! Can you show me around?" The little she-kit ran circles around her older sister.
